Genesis 2:24-25 (New Living Translation)
24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
25 Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.
The commitment between the man and the woman should be more important than any other human relationship.
This is not something passive that will happen automatically! We must proactively work at the marriage.

I’ve heard it said, “Marriage is less about your happiness and more about your holiness.”
The negative condition of marriage today.
From the beginning of creation, when God made the first couple, Adam and Eve, He had a perfect design for marriage. Unfortunately, because of our upbringing, society, pop culture, and the entertainment industry, we have warped ideas about marriage.

I love the stories about people’s lives being effected and I believe God is leading us to an opportunity to reach people far from God.

Paul is saying, “everything I do is to reach someone for God.”

It’s Your Move 09/06/09
Message today is based on James 2:20 – Faith without works is dead.
It is titled, “It’s Your Move”.
Most people pray that God will do something and they put the responsibility on Him while they sit and do nothing. “I prayed so it’s up to Gd now”. That is a cop-out.
Almost every time God moved in someone’s life, He always required them to do something first.
God doesn’t work independently from us. He works with and through people.
