When does worship begin? It is not an event or a ceremony!

Many people think of worship as music. For those of you who can sing, you don’t mind this. For the rest of us, it’s not fair.

People would describe me as a prison singer. I’m always behind a few bars and I can’t find the key.

Worship is a lifestyle. It’s  more about who you are than what you do.

Tomorrow 08/23/09

This morning I want to speak to you about doing something today that will affect your tomorrow.

Scripture tells us that our tomorrow is determined by what we do today. It shocks me how many people are ill-prepared when they experience completely common foreseeable events.

Tomorrow 08/16/09

It doesn’t matter how bad things have been, how impossible the situation may look, or how long things have been bad. God can turn it all around.

1 Peter 1:6 – The apostle Peter tells us that any troubles or hardships that we may have, they are only for a “LITTLE WHILE!”

There is always HOPE! Refuse to accept that something will never change.

How are you going to respond to a negative message about your tomorrow?

Maybe it’s bad news on CNN about what tomorrow may bring. Maybe a spouse that says they are done and not coming home tomorrow.

Or the Dr that says they will have the test results back tomorrow.

Other times thoughts of tomorrow are met with excitement and expectancy. Join Pastor Jesse as he shows us in the Scriptures what a difference a day can make.

When God Speaks 08/02/09

1 Kings 19:11-12

A mighty windstorm hit the mountain but the Lord was not in the wind.
There was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
There was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
There was the sound of a gentle whisper, a still small voice.

Why don’t we see God speaking in those big miraculous ways more often? Every time we  read in the scriptures of God speaking in these miraculous ways, it is always in extreme conditions/circumstances.
