The danger with not realizing that God is the totality of our lives not just a priority, is that we will try to shove God down to what we can understand and slide him into Priority Slot #1.

God has entrusted us with his stuff. It belongs to Him. So when we talk about stewardship, we deal with Lordship. It MUST be a PRIORITY in our lives to use our resources in a way that demonstrate that Jesus is Lord in our lives. But how we treat money and where we place it in the order of life-priorities is a spiritual issue.
